Top FAQ’s from our GUESTS:

What will we see on this trip?

  • You will see some of the most beautiful places in the world. Moraine Lake and Lake Louise’s stunning colour will leave you breathless. Surrounded by the Valley of the Ten Peaks and the Plain of the Six Glaciers, both lakes are something you should not miss. As personal vehicles do not have access to Moraine Lake, it is truly something that should not be missed while visiting the Canadian Rockies. Parking at Lake Louise is limited so coming with us will take the stress out of seeing these spectacular spots.

Where do I get on the shuttle?

  • Our locations for pick up are at most hotels in Canmore and the Train Station in Banff (free parking is available at the train station or you can take Roam Transit, www.roamtransit.com). Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Unfortunately, we are not able to wait for those who do not arrive at the scheduled time.

What if I miss my shuttle?

  • Unfortunately, we will not be able to wait for you should you be late arriving at the shuttle. You will have to check availability and purchase another ticket for either the afternoon shuttle or another day. Due to the high demand for shuttles in to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, we cannot offer refunds for missing a shuttle. Our refund policy is 72 hours prior to departure. Thank you for your understanding. It is VERY IMPORTANT to be on time for your shuttle departing from Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. There is no cell service at Moraine Lake so finding you will be difficult. Please be on time. Thank you!

Are your shuttle trips one-way or return?

  • Our shuttle trips are return trips. It is necessary to be on time for the departing shuttle from Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. Your WAYS ambassador will tell you what time you will be departing from each place.

Do I need to purchase a park pass?

  • No. The cost of your Banff National Park Pass is included in your ticket price. YAY!

Can I buy tickets at the shuttle?

  • We confirm our seating 72 hours in advance of the trip. On site purchases the day of are currently not available. Thank you for your understanding.

Are pets welcome on the shuttle?

  • Service dogs that provide assistance to individuals with disabilities are welcome on our shuttles. Please let us know in advance of the trip that you will be bringing your service dog so we can make the appropriate seating arrangements. Unfortunately, non service dogs will not be able to travel with you on our shuttles. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Are kids allowed on the shuttle?

  • YES! By law, children under the age of six who weigh less than 18 kg (40 lbs) must be in a child safety seat. Please let us know at time of booking if your child requires a safety seat. A $20 fee will be applied at time of booking to cover the cost of sanitation and maintenance of the safety seat. We only have so many child safety seats available so please advise us at time of booking if you require a seat or if you are bringing your own safety seat. If you are bringing your own seat, please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure so we can safely install the seat. Please note that if you have not contacted us ahead of time to arrange a safety seat, we will not be able to bring you on your trip and you will not receive a refund. Please also note that children will not be allowed to sit on a parent or guardians lap. Our policy is to maintain the highest safety standards for all our guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Can we bring a stroller or child carrier?

  • Absolutely! Please advise us at time of booking that you will be bringing a stroller or carrier. It will need to fold up in order to fit on the shuttle.

What is the Rock Pile at Moraine Lake?

  • The Rock Pile is a short trail that takes you to the most amazing views overlooking Moraine Lake. Here you will see the majestic Lake from above. The turquoise blue of the water is breathtaking. There are approximately 90 steps (not all at once!) to get to the top of the rock pile. It is worth the effort. The steps are uneven so please take care when going up. It is roughly 10 metres up and 10 metres back down. We ask that you stay on the trail to preserve the foliage and for safety. There are lots of viewpoints so please enjoy all there is to see on top of the rock pile and take care to stay on the designated path.

Will our shuttle driver come with us to both lakes?

  • Your shuttle driver will happily answer all your questions to and from the Lakes but will not accompany you once you arrive at the lakes. Feel free to explore the area and know that they will be waiting for you upon your return.

Is there cell service at the lakes?

  • Moraine lake has no cell service so please be mindful of when you have to return to the shuttle as there is no way of contacting you once we are there. There is cell service at Lake Louise but the same rule applies. Please be back at the shuttle ready to depart at the allotted time.

What type of payment do you accept?

  • We accept Visa and MasterCard..

Will we see wildlife?
